One of the most frequent meetings in a software project manager’s arsenal is the daily stand-up. The most effective format for running the standup is for the leader to give a quick status update on anything important and urgent that needs to be addressed, such as a critical defect in the production system. Then, each team member should briefly discuss what their plan is for the day and indicate if they need to discuss a task in further detail after the daily stand-up meeting is over.
